| FORE Cancer Research was formed as a grass roots vehicle to help raise funds and awareness for cancer research. Our goal is to raise $1 million dollars through the help of the Buckeyes FORE Cancer Research Charity Pro-Am Golf Event, the Give 18 FORE Cancer Research campaign, and individual donations. Together we CAN make a difference and help put an end, once and for all, to this terrible disease. |

The 18-hole "Lakes" course at the The Lakes Golf and Country Club facility in Westerville, Ohio features 7,106 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 74.1 and it has a slope rating of 134 on Bent grass. The Lakes golf course opened in 1990.
The Lakes Golf and Country Club is home to:
- Ed Sneed 18-hole golf course
- State of the art Aquatic complex with two olympic-size pools, two 1-meter diving boards, a 25-foot speed slide, playground area and kiddie pool
- A 30,000 square foot clubhouse with casual and fine dining, several meeting and banquet spaces and a Pub
- Six Har-tru tennis courts
- Lakes Athletic club
